JOJO

Why is she not big yet?

She's been on the back burner for too long!

Let’s stay together ’til we’re ghosts

Serious question:
What is marriage now?

Is it no longer sacred but now a habitual practice?

I was 16 when my parents called it quits. It was the end of my world at the time because well, they were my crutches in life.. as I was learning to walk on my own and they wanted nothing to do with each other.

But now that I'm older, I see they are much happier single. And yes that's important but how did they become UNhappy?? When did my parents fall OUT of love and if it's true love, is that even possible??

I personally find it funny that newlyweds are given a "certificate of marriage".. I mean, if you think about it, they're receiving their certificate of achievement BEFORE the actual achievement = STAYING MARRIED. It never made sense to me and it probably never will, until it's MY TURN to say I DO..after all, anyone can get married, staying married is the challenge.

I guess its one of those things where, you don't know if its real.. until you make it to the end.

Love VS. Death

Though I am young, and cannot tell
Either what DEATH or LOVE is well
Yet I have heard they both bear darts,
And both do aim at human hearts.
And then again, I have been told
LOVE wounds with HEAT, as DEATH with COLD;
So that I fear they do but bring
Extremes to tough, and mean one thing.

As in a ruin we it call...
One thing to blown up, or fall.
Or to our end like we always have
By a flash of lightening, or a wave..
So LOVE's inflamed torch or brand
Can kill as soon as DEATH's cold hand.
Except LOVE fires the saving virtue
That fights the frost out of the grave.

----To my loved ones who have passed, I miss you dearly.

Guess who's back!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

I have returned to my old blog site! I found out why I was locked out, and I got it fixed! =D

Now I have TWO YEARS to update my readers.. yes.. TWO YEARS. My last post was made in 2010, and it's the middle of 2012.. It's been that long!

Freshman Year of College consisted of the following:
  • Eating at the Roadrunner Cafe and regretting it.
  • Getting into trouble with authorities on campus
  • Having my first college boyfriend
  • Working out at the Rec
  • Swooning over upperclassmen/athletes
  • Learning which classes I could afford to skip
  • Time & money management
Sophomore Year of College consisted of the following:
  • Getting my own apartment, thank god for off campus housing
  • Continuing to work for UTSA's Athletic department
  • Throwing my very own college party
  • Getting my heart/pride broken... twice.
  • Kicking out my male roommate LOL
  • Getting my first car!
  • Witnessing my first college football game
  • Becoming a more independent strong woman, overall.
I've been through a lot these past two years, and it would be impossible to share everything. I'll just play the part of that good friend... you know, that one friend that you haven't seen in years, but nothing as changed between y'all.. and you just pick up where you left off.. Let's do that, shall we? (:
