IT TOOK US THE WHOLE SUMMER.... but we (my fools from Government class Senior year) and I finally got it together and met up at Hooters.. and Tiffany** had never been to Hooters before. So we took advantage of this Hooters Virgin ;) We wanted to show her the perfection of Hooters wings and burgers xD

Now "Tiffany" hadn't been to Hooters.. and by her driving... she  may have not been to Dallas before xD She some how......(lord bless her) some how ended up on the OTHER side of downtown. Well according to her, she was completely lost and she was about to head home out of frustration. So we get on the phone with her and ask her where she is, and since me and Zavier and Alfredo are such good friends. We go get her.....

TELL ME WHY WE FIND THIS CHICK THREE..1.. 2..3.. THREE BLOCKS FROM HOOTERS... Apparently she missed it the huge H00TERS sign and drove right past us xD MAN, WE GOT A GREEAAAT LAUGH. She begged me to change her name since this was soooo blog-worthy lol.

So after i finished LMFAO we got our seats and started grubbin, and talking about High School and things we miss.. (which isn't much) and then PROM came up.. Let me say, we all had some crazy stories to tell, about after parties, where we ended up and how exactly we got home. HAHA. I loved my prom.. oh and the actual dance was fun too. ;)

Day at the Zoo

Mondays are my days off from both jobs so usually I take advantage of that day to be lazy or run some errands..

But my little brother had been bugging me for the longest to take him to the zoo. He's one of those kids that are into animals and weird bugs haha.

so we get there to the first animal.. and i bust out with "Look its a birdy" and he corrects me with "Actually that's a Roadrunner, they're the only birds with two claws in the front and back"
I'm like, "........okay then"   LMAO.

 So the rest of the time he was pretty much schooling me on all the animals and I felt so dumb haha. The majority of the time I was asking "Estevan, what animal is that?" and boy, did he he let me know!!

I was waiting for a lion to come snatch up one of these.... didn't happen. 

So right after we got to see the antelope, it started to rain -_-
omg. so then every interesting exhibit was closing and all the animals were hiding so it was basically pointless being at the zoo. ...And tell me why the zoo is so complicated, we got so lost trying to get out!
Its a good thing my little brother has crazy good memory and he remembered which exhibit we got to first so we got out just in time before it started pouring rain! ....AND its a good thing that my tonka truck is a bright blue color cause I spotted it from afar ^_^ so I didn't have to remember where I parked!

RIP Jackie's Old Phone

ahhh.. so I finally got a new phone.

And I must say, for those who know me and my struggle..  
this is an epic moment in my life.
My old phone has been there through it all..
when slam it closed after a heated argument..(rarely happens)
or when i toss it in the air for entertainment..
when i throw it at someone just cause..
or when it turns off , for no apparent reason and i punch it..

i can honestly say, its been through hell and back xD

yea, its supposed to be a flip phone, but it kind of swivels now. lmao

and swivels....

and the guts are showing xD

so yea. its broken. and its been that way for a good month or so, lol. don't ask me why it took me this long to buy one, cause i don't really know the answer.. part of me was too cheap to go give metro my money. and the other part didn't HAVE the money to give to metro.
and yes.... i have metro. metro pcs! and i'm proud! cause i'm cheap and i don't travel. so it doesn't bother me. the only thing i can say that bothers me about metro is how expensive the phones are, and how annoying the rebates on them are. they have a nice blackberry priced to around $400. that's like a car payment lmao. what the hell. so, i got a cheap version of a blackberry and it was like 1/5 of that price. and i'm very happy cause i don't need any fancy touch screen phone to consider myself up to date. that's what the internet is for.

on to other news.
i'm planning on visiting my brother next saturday and i CANNOT wait.
he was incarcerated in february of this year and i have yet to see him. so its time. :)
 
maybe now my mind can settle down and my insomnia can ease up. lol

4th of July

FIREWORKS:
They're the main thing I look forward to every year. I always get mesmerized by the bright colors and loud sounds and it trips me out how everyone's so quiet while gazing into the sky.

My 4th of July went well. However, at first, I was pretty upset that I had to work til 6pm. I was hoping we'd close early at least but no.... we closed at the usual time on a Sunday. I also expected it to be a slow day, with maybe 2 to 3 customers every hour, but it was really busy!!
I WAS SOOO MAD!! I wanted it to rain on everyone who was having a good time at the park and cooking out. I was hating hardcore. lmao. AND THE STUPID PHONE WOULD NOT STOP RINGING!!!
I was thinking, "who wants office supplies on 4th of July????"
Anyway, 6pm rolls around and I'm outta there, going 80mph on the highway.. trying to RUSH home lol

I made plans with the family to head out to Lonestar Park. We usually don't have a tradition but I think we're gonna keep this one. We all had a good time I took a short nap, laying on a blanket and the fireworks were great :D Then my cousins and I started getting nerdy, and started talking about the different components and elements that make up fireworks lmao. 

I found out that Fireworks were invented in ancient China, to scare away evil spirits. Pretty cool huh.

Anyway, I hope everyone's 4th of July was fun
and everyone stayed safe. :D

Addison Adventure

Well! I had myself quite an adventure yesterday.
At my weekday job (as a receptionist/ assistant) I was sent out to pick up some supplies for my boss. Now, I had no problem doing that because I was provided with directions and gas money. BUT, I was a bit nervous because of where I was going to do the pick-up.
So I'm organizing and cleaning the desk area and my boss asked me to look up an address.
I looked it up, printed it out, and set it on her desk without asking why
then she hands it to me and she tells me I'll be going there for the pick up.
I looked at the address it said ADDISON, TX

My stomach dropped! lmao. I am terrified of the toll way! I HATE IT!!
The furthest I had ever driven was Cedar Hill or Northpark Mall, which ever is farther...
and even then, its simple to get there since its a straight shot. But, I was terrified of getting on the toll way.
I went ahead and packed up, got the number to the place, and prayed to God that I would get there in one piece!! haha
So, I'm on my way there.. and it was crazy and chaotic! I'm okay on the freeway but those freeways are NO JOKE!!!! Cars wouldn't let me in, trucks were right on my tail insisting I go faster than 70mph. I was just hoping that I wouldn't hit anybody since I'm driving without a license.  xD
I ended up somewhere in North Dallas running out of gas. lmao. I was so confused and frustrated!!
I did what anyone would do in a desperate situation.....
I called my mom :)  lmfao! she helped me out like I knew she would, and I got to where I was supposed to be going. Now I could only imagine how I looked, a little girl, driving a blue pick-up truck, waving a map around, on the cell phone, with supplies flying around in the back.. LMAOOOO

ahh man, it was crazy but I got the stuff, and it was delivered.
It may seem like no big deal to some but it was a big deal to me and I'm proud of myself.
Today, I was confident enough to drive to Arlington!

Dirty Minds!

I must admit, whenever someone says, "it wont fit!" or "this is hard!" i just bust out with THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID.  i'm sure everyone has said something that sounded "wrong" or "dirty" but i can't help but notice that its getting wayy outta hand. like, there are people that OVER-do it. like there are even groups on facebook 'that's what she saiders' and 'i have a dirty mind' groups.

while its funny, it worries me. if my generation thinks like this, imagine the future generation?!

Hakuna Matata

wow. my weekend flew byyy!!!!


right after work on Saturday, i went to my uncles house for my grandma's surprise 70th birthday party!
as soon as i walked in, i found this beautiful lady sitting at the dining room table.. about to open gifts :D

so i start the LONG process of saying hi to everyone. a kiss on the cheek and a hug is how we do it. and until you greet EVERYONE, you're not officially there! lol even if its 30 cousins and 11 aunts and uncles, in my family, its a must! haha

soon after, we get to dancing, our old skool, cumbias and even michael jackson..
NOW.........
i don't know about your grandma but my grandma can cut a mean rug. lmfao!!

so after i burned some calories on the dance floor/patio;
i started taking random pics with my cousins. i find it funny that the random pictures are always the ones that end up being my favorite.

So, then Sunday was Baccalaureate.
talk about a tease!! they make us wear our grad robes and dress up, and get all excited.. make ME get nervous, which rarely happens, by assigning me an intro speech..

they do all this when we have school the very next day. i'm thinking, "wow this is it. i'm about to graduate. no more high school. on to the next one.."
then i remember "HOLD UP! i need to FINISH high school first" haha..

seriously tho, the service was nice. i love that our guest speaker used a Lion King reference lol! he picked the right age group cause i know 99.9% of us knew what "hakuna matata" meant. aside from the bright lights/cameras in my face and the fact that the temp of the room was like the inside of a Hot Pocket....
all in all, it was a nice little "snippet" of what's to come on the glorious day, MAY 29th.
